Facility Maintenance

Overview

Facility Maintenance is responsible for assisting the Service Center Manager in the overall maintenance of the Service Center building, property and assets through field work and observations.

• Inspect building, properties and facility equipment and report repairs and recommendations to the Service Center Manager.
• Communicate and coordinate with outside vendors to ensure quality and standards are met.
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks within the building and on the property.
• Execute minor repairs and maintain outdoor areas.
• Complete weekly and monthly Service Center audits.
• Conduct monthly inspections.
• Clean the dock, yard, and office.
• Sweep and empty trash cans.
• Organize work areas.
• Complete other various tasks as instructed.
• Communicate any known defects of equipment promptly to the Operations Supervisor on duty.
• Be available for irregular work schedules and shifts or assignments changes.
• Interact and converse effectively with customers and company personnel.
• Lift and carry boxes without assistance.
• Report all accidents and/or injuries immediately to the Operations Supervisor on duty.
• Work within all company safety requirements.
