Registered Nurse or License Practical Nurse RN​/LPN

As a Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you will oversee the health and well-being of residents, implement care plans, and provide expert nursing care in a compassionate, transparent, and collaborative environment. • Conduct thorough assessments of residents’ health status, including physical, mental, and emotional well-being.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans based on residents’ health needs and goals.
• Monitor health conditions, document changes, and communicate findings to physicians and the care team.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments accurately and in compliance with medical orders.
• Provide wound care, IV therapy, and other advanced medical treatments as required.
• Perform routine medical procedures (vitals, injections, dressing wounds) per care protocols.
• Guide and train nursing staff to ensure high standards of care and protocol compliance.
• Participate in staff meetings and collaborate with leadership to maintain optimal resident care.
• Effectively communicate with residents, families, and healthcare team about patient conditions, care plans, and prevention.
• Coordinate care with physicians, dietitians, social workers, and other professionals to enhance resident experience.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date medical records in compliance with regulatory standards.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and all state and federal regulations regarding patient care and safety.
• Participate in regular care audits and reviews to ensure quality improvement.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies, providing appropriate emergency care and intervention.

• Associate’s degree in nursing (ADN) required; graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Active, unencumbered RN or LPN license in the state of Iowa.
• CPR and First Aid certification (obtainable upon hire).
• Additional certifications (e.g., wound care, IV therapy) may be required or preferred.
• Experience in long‑term, skilled nursing, or geriatric care settings.
• Previous supervisory or leadership experience is a plus.
