The Store Support Cashier provides a customer-first checkout experience by processing transactions accurately and maintaining a clean cashwrap. The role also supports customer service, sales, and store operations.
Responsibilities- Greet customers, answer inquiries, share product knowledge, and support cross-selling and upselling.
- Process sales, returns, promotions, and Ship to Home orders accurately while maintaining customer profiles and salesperson data in the POS system.
- Keep the cashwrap and queue area clean, support visual merchandising, and communicate product opportunities to management.
- Complete required training, collaborate with the team, and uphold company standards and policies.
- Retail or similar experience in a complex, high-volume, or high-profile specialty environment is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships.
- Ability to operate a register, stand and walk for extended periods, and lift or climb up to 30 pounds.
- Schedule flexibility for day, evening, weekend, and occasional overnight shifts as business needs require.
