If you have construction, telecom, cabling, or hands-on mechanical experience and are eager to learn, we want to hear from you.

What You'll Do

+ Install and support low-voltage cabling systems in large-scale data center environments

+ Pull, route, and dress copper and fiber optic cable

+ Install cable trays, J-hooks, D-rings, and other cable support systems

+ Assist with rack and stack activities, patch panels, and equipment installation

+ Terminate and label cables according to project standards

+ Read and follow blueprints, diagrams, and project documentation

+ Use hand tools safely and effectively

+ Work on active construction sites while maintaining safety and quality standards

+ Support data center build-outs and infrastructure expansion projects

What We're Looking For

Required:

+ Willingness to relocate to Altoona, IA for the initial 4-month contract assignment

+ (Travel projects may include paid housing and daily per diem allowances).

+ Explore new locations while gaining experience on large-scale technology infrastructure projects.

+ Ability to travel for future project opportunities after conversion

+

Experience with hand tools and basic construction tasks

+ Strong work ethic, reliability, and coachability

+ Comfortable working on construction sites, ladders, and at heights

Preferred:

+ Telecom, cabling, fiber, or low-voltage experience

+ Experience pulling cable, installing cable trays, or terminating cables

+ Rack and stack experience

+ Construction experience working from blueprints or technical drawings

Work Environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
