Driver (Full-Time – Evenings, Weekends Required)

Location: Altoona, PA

Pay: $15/hour

Pyramid Healthcare is seeking a dependable and professional Driver to join our team in Altoona, PA. This full‑time position is responsible for providing safe and timely transportation services for clients attending Pyramid Healthcare programs. Evening shifts and weekend availability are required.

• Safely transport clients to and from designated locations within expected time frames
• Supervise and support clients during transport
• Maintain accurate documentation of transportation services provided
• Respond appropriately to emergencies as needed
• Complete all required trainings as assigned by the company and accrediting/licensing bodies
• Perform other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Experience providing transportation in a healthcare or human services setting preferred
• Valid driver’s license within the state of employment and a clean driving record
• Current CPR, AED, and First Aid certification required (or willingness to obtain upon hire)

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to problem‑solve and respond effectively in crisis situations
• Familiarity with basic auto maintenance and safety procedures
• Reliable, professional, and punctual

This position requires regular sitting, standing, walking, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Work is primarily conducted in a vehicle and program settings. This role requires regional travel and flexibility to meet program transportation needs, including weekends.
