Position: Patient Care Technician I - 7E Neurology
UPMC -  - Responsibilities:
Provides direct patient care as directed by the RN including all activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, transporting, toileting and ambulating patients.;
Assists with activities of daily living and helps maintain patient safety and comfort.;
Maintains an environment conducive to patient safety and recovery including keeping rooms clean and organized and assisting with patient care equipment.;
Communicates effectively with the RN and healthcare team; reports changes in patient status and any issues promptly.;
Responds to call lights and participates in universal unit activities such as transporting patients and delivering nourishments.
