Position: Patient Care Technician I (Nights) - 7E Neurology
UPMC -  - Responsibilities:
Provides direct patient care as directed by the RN including all activities of daily living such as bathing, feeding, transporting, toileting and ambulating patients.;
Performs routine tests such as blood glucose monitoring, patient weights, vital signs and I&Os.;
Maintains an environment conducive to patient safety and recovery including completing safety checks and keeping patient rooms clean and organized.;
Communicates learning needs to the unit director and contributes to department improvements.;
Supports nurses and patients and assists with transportation, meal distribution, and other unit activities.
