We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Specialty Care team in Hematology/Oncology. This role provides comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and infusion treatments, while serving as an Oncology Nurse Navigator to guide patients through the cancer care continuum.

This role provides comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and infusion treatments, while serving as an Oncology Nurse Navigator to guide patients through the cancer care continuum. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, evidence-based care, provide education and emotional support, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Duties include but are not limited to the following:

* Provide clinical support to hematology/oncology practitioners, including assisting with procedures, patient preparation, and follow-up care.

* Serve as a primary point of contact for patients and families, coordinating appointments, diagnostic tests, and referrals.

* Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, side effects, and self-care strategies.

* Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.

* Administer chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and other infusion therapies in accordance with established protocols.

* Monitor patients during and after infusion for adverse reactions and intervene promptly as needed.

* Perform venipuncture and manage central lines (ports, PICC lines).

* Document all care accurately and timely in the electronic health record (EHR).

* Collaborate with oncologists, pharmacists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals.

* Adhere to infection control, chemotherapy handling, and hazardous drug safety protocols.

* Participate in quality improvement initiatives and maintain required certifications.

Pay:
