We are seeking a skilled Drywall Finisher who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship and collaborates effectively with a team.
Duties and Responsibilities- Perform all phases of drywall finishing, including taping, mudding, sanding, and touch-ups.
- Hang drywall as needed and assist with layout and installation.
- Read and interpret blueprints and job specifications to ensure accurate work.
- Prepare surfaces for finishing to achieve smooth, high-quality.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship with strong attention to detail.
- Safely operate hand and power tools in accordance with job site safety requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Two years of drywall finishing experience required.
- Two years of experience working on commercial construction projects in team oriented environments.
- Current OSHA 10-hour certification preferred.
- Can safely lift up to 60 pounds, climb ladders, stairs, and climb out of ditches.
- Must wear proper protective equipment at all times.
- Reliable transportation to job sites.
- Strong attention to detail and quality control.
- Proficiency in drywall finishing techniques including taping, mudding, and sanding.
- Basic knowledge of drywall hanging and installation methods.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and meet project deadlines.
