Datacenter Fiber Installation Technician – Entry Level
LocationAltoona, IA (6‑month assignment). Relocation options to Lebanon, IN or Cedar Rapids, IA for long‑term engagements.
Responsibilities- Pull cable and fiber
- Learn color codes
- Punch down and terminate fiber
- Install cable trays and pathways
- Build server racks
- Assist in assembling server racks and installing cable trays as primary tasks
Cat6, Cat5, cabling, cable installation, punchdown, fiber optic cable, structured cabling, data center experience, military communications (a plus)
AdditionalSkills & Qualifications
Punctual, team player, flexible on hours.
Job Type & LocationContract position based out of Altoona, IA.
Pay & BenefitsPay range: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour.
