Position: Commercial Install Plumber (Altoona)
A long-standing provider of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and indoor air quality services is hiring a Commercial Install Plumber in Altoona, PA. The company supports residential and commercial customers throughout Pennsylvania and provides construction, mechanical, retrofit, replacement, repair, and installation services for properties in the Altoona market. This role is ideal for an experienced commercial plumber who takes pride in quality installation work, can work independently in the field, and wants steady year-round work with a team-oriented company.

The Commercial Install Plumber will be responsible for completing commercial plumbing installations, supporting project teams, maintaining safe work practices, and delivering a professional experience on active job sites.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, repair, and modify commercial plumbing systems, piping, fixtures, valves, fittings, and related equipment.

- Read and interpret project plans, drawings, and specifications to complete accurate installations.

- Perform work safely, efficiently, and in accordance with applicable standards and project expectations.

- Troubleshoot plumbing and mechanical issues as needed during installation work.

- Represent the company professionally while working at commercial job sites and customer facilities.

- Coordinate with team members, project leads, and other trades to keep projects moving forward.

- Work independently in the field while maintaining strong communication with the team.

- Assist and mentor less experienced technicians when needed.

- Complete job documentation, updates, and communication accurately using digital tools.

Job Requirements:

- 3-5+ years of commercial plumbing installation experience.

- Valid driver"s license with an insurable driving record.

- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship.

- Comfort using an iPad, email, and other digital tools for documentation and communication.

- Reliable work ethic and commitment to completing work correctly the first time.

Qualifications:

- Journeyman or Master Plumbing License is preferred, but not required.

- Technical school training or an associate degree is preferred, but not required.

- Prior experience working on commercial construction, retrofit, or mechanical installation projects is a plus.

- Strong communication skills and a professional approach to customer-facing work. Compensation & Benefits:
