What You’ll Do

The Member Account Representative is responsible for promptly welcoming Members and others to the office. Accurately process Member transactions as requested. Open new accounts, unsecured loans, credit cards and Kwik Cash loans. This position may also require working at other office locations. Build relationships by meeting Member needs with Royal’s products and services, provide electronic service demonstrations, and resolve inquiries in an efficient, accurate, and friendly manner.

Support NPS initiatives in the office by delivering exceptional service guided by Royal’s Core Values, creating loyal Members.

Our Commitment To You
  • Compensation: $17.41 - 19.98 (candidates with significant related experience may be higher)

What’s Needed For This Position
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Working knowledge of financial services and ability to identify solutions to meet Member needs
  • Strong customer service, written and verbal communication, interviewing and listening skills; able to explain and present to Members
  • Good organizational skills, time management, attention to detail, and ability to produce accurate materials and complete transactions
  • Readily learns new technologies and uses Royal’s digital solutions on devices (tablets, smartphones, PCs); basic understanding of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work in a team with interruptions, perform routine tasks, and maintain high attention to detail
  • Previous customer service and cash handling experience
  • Previous experience working in a financial institution
Work Schedule
  • Full-Time, approximately 40 hours per week
  • Hours vary between 7:45am – 5:45pm, Monday through Friday, and every other Saturday 7:45am – 12:30pm
  • Must be able to work fully onsite at the Altoona Royal Credit Union branch
Training
  • Foundation Training at the Corporate Center in Eau Claire, WI from 9:00am – 4:30pm on Monday and Tuesday during the first week. Out-of-town learners are reimbursed for travel and lodging. Foundation Training covers Royal’s culture and core values.
  • After Foundation training, there are 9 additional days of training split between Learning Center and Tactical Branch locations prior to serving Members independently at the Home Branch.
    Learning Center: located at Eau Claire, White Bear Lake, or Somerset; training runs 9:00am – 4:30pm on those days.
    Tactical Branch: hands-on 1:1 training with an on-the-job trainer for six days in a live branch environment.
