We’re seeking a friendly, and customer-oriented individual who is eager to build and maintain customer relationships.

As a Personal Banker you will discuss, explain, promote and sell products and services to current and/or potential customers and assist them in opening the products and services that best fit their needs. You will be skilled in the areas of teller, vault, safe deposit, lending and provide leadership, training and support to branch staff and other colleagues. Primary Responsibilities

• Provides assistance to all assigned areas of branch operations where needed, including new accounts, teller, safe deposit, vault teller and lending.
• Assists consumer and business customers in their selection of various accounts, products and financial services available from the Bank; ensures cross-sell opportunities are presented by applying professional sales techniques.
• Makes decisions regarding the opening of new deposit accounts; completes forms requiring customer signature(s); accepts initial deposits; prepares all documents and items pertaining to new accounts for processing. Presents funds received from customer to teller for initial deposits; determines funds availability and obtains receipt for customer.
• Provides exceptional customer service by answering customer questions; investigates and corrects errors; and resolves problems or other issues within given authority.
• May assist in opening and closing the vault daily; may provide dual control in verifying cash/coin sold or bought from the vault, may assist in balancing vault currency and coin.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, economics or related field.
• Substitution:
  Three (3) years of directly related full time experience performing the functions outlined above may be considered in lieu of the degree.
• Three (3) years of experience in the financial services industry performing teller job duties.
• Three (3) years of experience working in sales or customer service
