• Clean resident’s rooms, common areas, bathrooms, furniture/furnishings according to job policies and procedures.
• Follow manufacture procedural guidelines when using tools
• Operate equipment and handling of chemicals
• Mustbe able to read and understand labeling along with the Safety Data Sheet
• Removalof debris and soiled linen
• Understand and follow proper infection control policies and procedures
• Hasaccess to confidential information/records and maintains confidentiality
• Projecta positive image of the organization in dealing with residents/clients,co-workers, public
• Mustbe able to communicate orally and/or in writing with residents,co-workers, families, public
• Additional duties as assigned

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Lifts and carries food supplies weighing 50pounds occasionally; lifts and carries dishes, food trays weighing up to 25pounds frequently
• Occasionally pushes/pulls dish lowraters/dishcarts weight 250-400 pounds a distance of 70 feet
• Constantly grasps, frequently twists, stoops,bends
• Frequently works on slippery, wet floors
• Frequently reaches at or below shoulder height, occasionally reaches above shoulder height,
• Occasionally climbs step stool, stairs, andkneels
• Frequently exposed to hot, humid conditions and temperature changes
• 100% of work day is spent indoors; 50% of workday is spent standing, 50% of work day is spent walking
• Must be able to communicate orally and/or inwriting with residents, coworkers, families, and public.
