Position: Residential Support Staff - Full-Time, 2nd Shift

Role: Adult Residential Support Professional – 2nd Shift

Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision, support, and positive role modeling to residents.
  • Build professional relationships while maintaining boundaries.
  • Observe, document, and report resident behaviors and progress.
  • Support residents in achieving treatment goals and respond to emergencies.
  • Monitor and administer medications, conduct urinalysis, and facilitate educational groups.
  • Assist with daily activities such as meal prep, housekeeping, and transportation.
  • Maintain confidentiality and communicate professionally.
  • Attend meetings and perform additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to pass background and medical clearances.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain professional boundaries.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience in substance use treatment, behavioral health, or related fields.
  • College coursework in Social Work, Psychology, or Human Services.
  • Completion of DHS 83 training or willingness to obtain it.
Work Environment:

Residential treatment setting involving physical activity, outdoor supervision, and local travel.

This position requires one male staff member to conduct observed urine analyses for male residents, ensuring compliance with contractual requirements.
