Job Description:
Protestant Worship Leader
Location: Altus Air Force Base (AFB) Chapel, Altus, OK
Responsibilities- Lead weekly Protestant worship service (Sundays 10:30 AM – 12:00 PM).
- Provide music for special services (funerals, memorials, Good Friday, Christmas Eve).
- Recruit, train, and rehearse a Worship Team of volunteer musicians/singers.
- Plan music with the Chaplain; submit lyrics 72 hours prior to services.
- Operate audio/visual systems and Proclaim presentation software.
- At least 3 years’ recent experience as a Protestant Worship Leader or Musician.
- Ability to read music and play a lead instrument (guitar, piano, or keyboard).
- Skilled in vocal leadership and harmony.
- Familiar with multi-cultural, multi-denominational Protestant worship styles.
- Active church/chapel membership with letter of endorsement.
- Proficient in PowerPoint and Proclaim software; able to operate sound/AV equipment.
