Training Management Systems (TMS) Administrator
Responsible for the KC‑135 TMS customer experience. The administrator supports daily operations with regards to TMS customer services, internal/external user training, troubleshooting, and data configuration. Responsibilities include system administration, system data entry, courseware installations, database configuration updates on CAE computers and servers, and rapid‑response technical support to the Formal Training Unit (FTU) and Main Operating Bases (MOB).
Responsibilities- Support daily operations of the TMS, including customer services, user training, and data configuration.
- Perform system administration and system data entry.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve system and user issues.
- Install courseware and update database configurations on CAE computers and servers.
- Provide rapid response technical support to FTU and MOB.
- Perform Learning Management System (LMS) Helpdesk duties.
- Create, update, and manage FTU/MOB course syllabi in multiple Electronic Training Management Systems.
- Serve as liaison between KC‑135 ATS program and TMS vendors.
- Perform internal and external user training, including new user immersion training for TMS.
- Attend required meetings and provide current TMS progress/ status reports.
- Generate custom reports based on analysis of data collected in TMS.
- Coordinate with schedulers for TMS course and class syllabi implementation as required.
- Coordinate with Base Registrar and FTU/MOB Registrar as needed.
- Perform other additional duties as directed.
- AA/AS or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- 3+ years in a similar or related field, with knowledge of Electronic Training Management Systems and flight operations in AETC/AMC preferred.
- Experience using GTIMS on an administrative basis.
- Previous ATS or active‑duty flying knowledge highly desired.
- Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
- Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.
- Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries and complaints.
- Ability to generate effective oral and written presentations and proposals on complex subjects.
- Comply with all company security and data protection/usage policies and procedures.
- Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form.
- Shall not divulge information or provide access to employees without a need‑to‑know.
- Shall not divulge information outside the company without management approval.
- All government and proprietary information will be accessed and stored electronically on company‑provided resources.
- Must be eligible for DoD Personal Security Clearance.
- Work in a regular office environment; communicate via personal computer, telephone, and fax.
- Domestic travel may be required.
- Must be able to detect odors or hear noises, bangs, etc., to detect problems or flaws in the functioning of the network and associated components.
