Job Overview

Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse for a 13-week night shift contract.

The L&D RN provides direct patient care to laboring mothers and newborns, supports safe delivery practices, and collaborates with providers to manage routine and high-risk obstetric cases.

• 3x12 Night Shifts
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours guaranteed weekly
• 13-week assignment

• Provide care for patients in all stages of labor
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being
• Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries
• Manage high-risk obstetric cases as needed
• Administer medications and IV therapies
• Provide newborn stabilization and immediate post-delivery care
• Educate and support patients and families
• Collaborate with OB providers and interdisciplinary team

• Active RN license (state or compact, as applicable)
• BLS certification required
• Labor & Delivery experience required
• Strong fetal monitoring skills
• Ability to respond to obstetric emergencies
• Experience with C-sections preferred

• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Acute care hospital setting
• Standard unit orientation provided

Night shift position (7p–7a). Must have recent Labor & Delivery experience. Please confirm start date availability and any requested time off prior to submission.
