# Cashier-Part Time Altus ACE Hardware - Altus, OK 73521## Overview Salary Range $9.00 - $11.00 Hourly Position Type Part Time Category Retail ## Description Must be willing to work Evenings and Weekends.
** Primary Job Functions
*** Run POS (point of sale) register
* Greeting customers upon entry of store
* Customer Service (help customers find what they need in a professional and courteous manner)
* Keep up with store promotions and special events
* Understanding store layout and location of products
* Cleaning and stocking impulse and endcap merchandise
* Following store procedures, opening and closing
* Answer telephone
** Secondary

Job Functions:

*** Help load merchandise for customers
* Help check in freight
* Organize point of purchase material, maintain bin tags, shelf labels, and peg hooks## Qualifications

* Qualifications:

*** H.S. Diploma or G.E.D. is preferred
* Ability to count change back
* Retail cashier experience is a plus
* Ability to operate office machines, computers, and Excel is a plus
* Professional telephone skills
* Knowledge of merchandise
* Ability to work flexible hours; including evenings, weekends, and holidays
* Attention to detail, accuracy is key
