As a Utility Maintenance Worker
, you’ll help maintain the essential systems that keep our city running: water, wastewater, streets, parks, and public spaces. You’ll work with a great team, use a variety of equipment, learn valuable skills, and take pride in work that truly matters.
What You’ll Do:
- Assist with the maintenance of water and wastewater lines and facilities
- Perform general repair, cleanup, mowing, and debris removal
- Operate light equipment such as trucks, standard utility tractor, backhoe, weed eater, lawn mower, zero-turn, and other equipment, and chainsaw safely
- Support special events and community efforts
- Help keep our public spaces clean, safe, and welcoming
What You’ll Need:
- A high school diploma/GED and a valid Texas Class C license
- Must be able to work flexible hours, work during emergency conditions, and may require on-call status (in cases of emergencies)
