This role is “On‑Site” at the Alvarado, TX location. Custom Truck One Source specializes in custom truck and heavy‑equipment solutions, including sales, rentals, aftermarket parts and service, equipment customization, remanufacturing, financing, and asset disposal. Your success is what drives us, and we’re looking for Upfit Technicians who will partner with our team, delivering quality products to our customers in a timely, cost‑efficient manner.

You understand the heavy equipment business and have a drive for being an active part of solutions. You set the bar high and lead by example, collaborating with the highest integrity.

• Create a safe working environment.
• Build and customize aerial, heavy & light duty vehicles with a variety of parts to customer specs.
• Wire electrical components to an assortment of vehicles.
• Plumb hydraulics on an assortment of vehicles.
• Read and understand repair orders.
• Properly allocate time spent on repair orders.
• Produce a product that is up to CTE quality standards.
• Ensure a timely turnaround of vehicles.
• Operate overhead and jib cranes as well as forklifts.
• Communicate between several departments.

• Must be able to pass a pre‑employment drug test.
• High school diploma or the equivalent.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information.
• Mechanical experience with aerial and heavy‑duty vehicles.
• Must have your own tools.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Must be able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong attendance record.
• Must be able to work off a Repair Order.
• Must be self‑sufficient and driven.
• Valid driver’s license.
