Associate Mechanical Assembler; Onsite: Alvarado, TX

The Associate Mechanical Assembler working under general supervision, you will perform a variety of assembly operations associated with the manufacturing of explosive products, small mechanical or electro-mechanical parts, or equipment housing.

• Pay Rate:Up to $21.82/hour, depending on experience.
• Assignment Length: 3-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
• Shift Details: Monday – Thursday | 6:00 am – 4:30 pm

• This role also involves working on large equipment such as engines, engine and PTO drive trains, gas compressors, control equipment, covers/cowlings, and related connecting lines.
• Perform fitting, mounting, alignment, and adjusting during the assembly process.
• Conduct operational testing of assembled components and equipment.
• Execute a variety of assembly operations for explosive products and mechanical parts.
• Assemble large-scale equipment, including drive trains, compressors, and control systems.

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years of related assembly experience (skills typically acquired through this duration).
• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work well with your hands.
• Ability to stand for most of the shift.
• Ability to lift 35 lbs.
• Proven ability to work effectively in teams.
• Ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Strong reading and writing skills.
