Forklift Driver

Role Summary

As a Forklift Driver at Locke Solutions, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our manufacturing and warehouse facilities. Your primary responsibility is to safely operate forklifts to transport, load, and unload materials, ensuring that our products are handled with care and precision. You will also support various warehouse operations, contributing to overall productivity and success.

• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload heavy materials and products within the warehouse and manufacturing plant.
• Transport materials to and from storage areas, production lines, and loading docks.
• Ensure accurate placement of materials and products in designated storage locations.
• Assist in organizing and maintaining inventory in the warehouse.
• Perform regular inventory checks to ensure accurate stock levels.
• Report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the supervisor.
• Conduct daily inspections of forklifts to ensure they are in safe operating condition.
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures while operating forklifts and handling materials.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to the supervisor immediately.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of delivery trucks as needed.
• Work closely with the warehouse and production teams to support efficient workflow and meet production schedules.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring that materials are stored safely and efficiently.
• Ensure safe and efficient operation of forklifts with zero accidents or incidents.
• Achieve accurate and timely movement of materials, contributing to smooth warehouse and production operations.
• Maintain a well‑maintained inventory with minimal discrepancies or damaged goods.
• Keep a clean and organized work environment that supports productivity and safety.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid forklift operator certification.
• Minimum 1–2 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures for operating forklifts and handling materials.
• Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) safely.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a positive attitude.
