The Associate Mechanical Assembler working under general supervision, you will perform a variety of assembly operations associated with the manufacturing of explosive products, small mechanical or electro-mechanical parts, or equipment housing.
- Pay Rate: Up to $17.75/hour, depending on experience.
- Assignment Length: 6-month contract with a high possibility of extension and/or conversion based on performance and other factors.
- Shift Details: Day Shift | 10-hours a day
- This role also involves working on large equipment such as engines, engine and PTO drive trains, gas compressors, control equipment, covers/cowlings, and related connecting lines.
- Perform fitting, mounting, alignment, and adjusting during the assembly process.
- Conduct operational testing of assembled components and equipment.
- Execute a variety of assembly operations for explosive products and mechanical parts.
- Assemble large-scale equipment, including drive trains, compressors, and control systems.
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1-2 years of related assembly experience (skills typically acquired through this duration).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work well with your hands.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to processes
- Ability to inspect materials and identify quality issues
- Strong attention to detail for inspection tasks
- Reliability for overtime and onsite work
