Primary Purpose: To adhere to the Student Attendance Accounting guidelines. Maintain attendance records and keep student permanent folders up to date. Maintain campus state mandated reports.

Education/Certification:

• High School Diploma or GED, plus:
• Two years of study at an institution of higher education totaling 48 hours, or an Associate Degree, or passing score on the Paraprofessional Assessment of Competencies exam (administered by Alvin ISD).

Valid Texas Education Aide Certificate (obtainable through Alvin ISD when hired).

Special Knowledge/Skills:

• Accuracy in use of computer
• Proficient typing, keyboarding and file maintenance
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Knowledge in PEIMS reporting
• Knowledge of enrollment and withdrawal procedures

Experience:

• One year clerical experience in a public education environment preferred

Salary:
