Primary PurposeTo assist in the efficient operation of the Federal Programs Department with the clerical work necessary to implement and maintain state and federal programs.
Qualifications- Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED, plus; two years of study in an institution of higher education totaling 60 hours, or Associate's Degree (preferred) or passing score on the "Paraprofessional Assessment of Competencies" exam to be administered by Alvin ISD.
- Special Knowledge/
Skills:
Effective communication and interpersonal skills; effective organizational skills and accuracy in use of computer; accuracy in preparing reports and other tasks; ability to support multiple campuses and departments. - Experience: One year of clerical experience in a public education environment preferred.
