Purpose:
Provide strong leadership, program management, guidance, and direction to school counselors in the development and implementation of the campus comprehensive school counseling program. Work with school faculty and staff, students, parents, and community to plan, implement, and evaluate a comprehensive developmental guidance and counseling throughout the district as needed. Act as the coordinator of the campus counseling staff and liaison between the campus and central administration.
Counsel students to fully develop academic, career, personal, and social abilities and address the needs of special population students.
This role includes:
- Leadership and program management for school counselors.
- Collaboration with faculty, staff, students, parents, and community.
- Coordination of campus counseling staff.
- Counseling students to develop academic, career, personal, and social abilities.
- Address needs of special population students.
Education/Certification: Master's degree in Counseling;
Valid Texas school counseling certificate.
