Job PurposeManage the reliability and integrity programs for the Chocolate Bayou site, ensuring that routine and unusual inspections are executed safely and efficiently, and that equipment is maintained for mechanical integrity and reliability.
Responsibilities & Accountabilities- Apply and cascade the INEOS 20 Principles within the team.
- Ensure HSE delivery and compliance for reliability and integrity activities across the unit areas.
- Improve overall equipment and process reliability, including budgeting and supporting API and CUI projects, and leading root‑cause failure analysis.
- Plan and execute TAR and capital projects, serving as the TAR Execution Coordinator for Facilities.
- Develop a long‑term strategic plan for site assets, integrating new technology and best practices.
- Manage vendor relationships for inspection and reliability services, including negotiation and performance monitoring.
- Prepare cost reports for reliability and integrity cost centers, and provide monthly updates during the Group Financial Outlook process.
- Maintain preventive maintenance plans, equipment criticality indices, and work‑criticality indices in alignment with technical authorities.
- Standardize reliability and integrity processes, deploy best practices, and publish metrics.
- Develop monitoring and modelling capabilities to improve online analysis and technology.
- Prioritize improvement plans and new technologies to achieve cost reductions, increased reliability, and operational flexibility.
- Lead capital requests for equipment and spare parts aligned with long‑term sustainability.
- Execute the Integrity Management Plan, ensuring inspections per API 653, 570, 571, 580, and 581.
- Manage mechanical integrity, ensuring compliance with API, ASME, and ANSI standards.
- Serve as a technical resource for engineering standards and procedures, including O&P PS&IM Policy compliance.
- Champion safety of the work team, providing training, incident prevention, and root‑cause analysis.
- Develop required skill sets and training programs for Mechanical, Electrical, and Instrumentation Engineering.
- Deploy resources to support operations during abnormal or crisis events.
- Maintain annual budgets and propose fixed and capital expenditures for site asset sustainability.
- Coach and mentor project teams on execution and business context.
- Act as Single Point of Accountability for large equipment rebuild, sparing, and revamp strategies during TARs or unplanned outages.
- Manage reliability and inspection cost center budgets and monthly updates.
- Ensure compliance with internal and external policies and regulations, including HAZOP, incident investigation, and PSM.
- Maintain mechanical integrity of assets through adherence to industry standards and emerging trends.
- Provide technical support for TAR and capital planning, and leverage technology to reduce lifecycle costs.
- Lead reliability projects to improve production and reduce fixed and variable costs.
- Forecast and manage reliability and integrity budgets, including variance analysis and vendor relationship optimization.
- Strategically plan for site and asset optimization, contributing to the long‑term asset strategy and optimization team.
- Undergraduate degree in Engineering or equivalent experience leading a reliability organization.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in chemical, refining, or industrial manufacturing with responsibility for critical functions.
- Minimum 5 years of direct leadership experience in a reliability organization.

- Strong financial acumen and familiarity with safety systems.
