Job Duties- Lead and support financial performance tracking and cost structure optimization for assets.
- Collaborate with feedstock and product schedulers to troubleshoot, validate, and analyze CBW material balance using computational tools (e.g., Aspen).
- Lead monthly material accounting closing activities requiring coordination with feedstock and product schedulers, pipeline, commercial, and third‑party groups within and outside CBW.
- Represent operations on capital projects and serve as project leader on small projects.
- Act as the site gas turbine, boiler, and HRSG (heat recovery steam generator) expert.
- Serve as site turbine emission tuning expert to improve cogeneration environmental performance and reliability.
- Lead PHA and develop solutions to close process safety gaps.
- Support operator training, inclement weather operations, and operations and maintenance during turnarounds.
- Lead efforts to improve environmental performance and reliability of steam generators.
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, mechatronics engineering, or a related field.
- At least 48 months of experience in a process engineer‑related occupation or the job offered.
- Commitment to safety, environmental performance, and continuous improvement.
