Operator Trainee, MPR

Job Description

Our division, SGS MPR Services  is currently seeking candidates for an Operator Trainee position. The Operator Trainee will assist on all dedicated projects from start to finish, complying with operating policies and procedures, and/or the policies and procedures of clients. This entry-level position provides hands‑on experience and training to develop the skills required for safe and efficient operation of process equipment.

• Assist during setup and tear down activities of process equipment.
• Operating process equipment under the guidance of experienced operators.
• Participate in on‑the‑job process training and lab analysis training, as required.
• Troubleshoot minor operational issues with guidance, as learning moments.
• Maintain Safety qualifications.
• Miscellaneous additional tasks as directed.

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Required)
• Process Technology degree or one year of relevant experience (Preferred)
• Valid driver’s license (if required for on‑site travel or operations).
• Must be able to obtain TWIC card.
• Must have or be able to obtain a passport.
