Sales Engineer
Nationwide Boiler is seeking an Outside Sales Engineer to drive sales growth across the Houston–Gulf Coast Region and Mid‑West Corridor. This role focuses on build‑to‑spec projects and Nationwide Boiler’s in‑stock fleet. The Sales Engineer will generate and process new inquiries, determine customer requirements, prepare proposals, deliver presentations, and maintain strong client relationships through regular customer visits. Collaboration with internal engineering, service, accounting, and fabrication teams is essential, as is supporting marketing initiatives at trade shows and industry events.
The role also requires maintaining awareness of market conditions, regulations, and competitor activity while ensuring exceptional customer service and full project ownership from sale through execution.
Strong communication, organizational skills, and a high level of professionalism are essential, along with the ability to prioritize tasks, work effectively in a team environment, and meet sales goals. Candidates must be self‑motivated, disciplined, and skilled at navigating corporate structures, identifying decision‑makers, and converting prospects into customers. Proficiency with MS Office and CRM tools is required. A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing, or five years of industrial equipment sales experience, is preferred.
