A privately held cattle feeding and beef production company is seeking a Corporate Accounting Manager to support operations from its headquarters in Amarillo. This role is ideal for accounting professionals with deep experience in livestock or commodity-based environments.

• Manage general ledger and corporate accounting functions across multiple business units
• Oversee fixed asset and lease accounting processes
• Prepare monthly financial reports, journal entries, and account reconciliations
• Lead the month-end and year-end close cycles, ensuring accuracy and compliance
• Support internal and external audits with documentation and reporting
• Collaborate with feedyard operations and cross-functional departments

• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate or general accounting
• Direct experience in cattle, livestock, or commodity-related accounting required
• Strong understanding of GAAP, reconciliations, and financial reporting
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with accounting or ERP systems
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

• Background in agricultural, feedlot, or commodity trading environments
• Experience working in decentralized or multi-site operations
• Strong analytical skills and ability to manage competing priorities
