Overview
Come join an outstanding group of exciting and motivated employees in our Level 5 school district. This is a position in one of our elementary schools in the district. You will work within a system that is dedicated to the core value of family. Assistance and collaboration with other data clerks and the attendance supervisor will be provided.
ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities of a Data Clerk/Finance Secretary are:
- Entering and updating information into relevant databases
- Maintaining and monitoring school attendance records as well as permanent records
- Maintaining the report card portal
- Receiving and giving calls from parents/guardians regarding school attendance
- Disseminating reports regarding attendance/absences/disciplinary records/schedules/grades as requested
- Performing other student data entry as required
- Performing a variety of general bookkeeping, record keeping, accounting functions, administrative and office clerical duties; and computing, classifying, and recording numerical data to keep sets of financial records complete
The position reports to the Principal and Attendance Director.
