We are excited to announce new opportunities in Amarillo for a Behavioral Health Office Administrator. This role is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, compassionate, and ready to support a team that makes a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and families.
As the Behavioral Health Office Administrator, you will help keep daily office operations running smoothly while supporting providers, patients, and internal team members. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
What You’ll DoIn This Role, You Will- Greet and assist patients, families, providers, and visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
- Manage front office operations, scheduling, phone calls, messages, and administrative workflows.
- Support patient intake, documentation, records management, and appointment coordination.
- Assist with insurance, referrals, authorizations, and other administrative healthcare processes.
- Maintain accurate and confidential patient information in accordance with privacy and compliance standards.
- Coordinate communication between clinical staff, patients, and internal departments.
- Help ensure the office remains organized, efficient, and patient‑focused.
- Support leadership with daily administrative needs and special projects as assigned.
- Professional, dependable, and highly organized.
- Compassionate and comfortable working in a behavioral health setting.
- Skilled in customer service, communication, and problem‑solving.
- Able to manage confidential information with discretion.
- Comfortable using office systems, electronic records, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office or similar programs.
- Able to work independently while also supporting a collaborative team environment.
- Experience in healthcare administration, behavioral health, medical office support, or front desk operations preferred.
