Automotive Mainline Technician

Street Volkswagen is looking for a motivated and experienced Automotive Mainline Technician to join our growing service team. We are looking for a technician who takes pride in their work, is committed to quality repairs, and wants the opportunity to grow their career with a professional Volkswagen dealership.

Compensation: $25–$35 per flag hour based on experience and qualifications. Signing Bonus:
Available for qualified applicants

$25 - $35 per flag hourly DOE

• Previous professional automotive technician experience
• Volkswagen experience and/or factory training
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to efficiently complete repairs in a flat-rate environment
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Own professional hand tools
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
• We are willing to consider technicians at different experience levels. Pay will be determined based on technical experience, diagnostic ability, training, certifications, and overall qualifications.

• Perform accurate diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of Volkswagen vehicles
• Complete repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship
• Perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics
• Complete manufacturer-recommended maintenance and inspections
• Identify additional vehicle concerns and communicate findings clearly
• Follow Volkswagen repair procedures, specifications, and safety guidelines
• Maintain accurate documentation of repairs and diagnostic findings
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Work cooperatively with service advisors, parts personnel, technicians, and management
• Maintain a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and first-time-quality repairs
