We have an immediate opening for an Industrial Sales & Operations Representative supporting a new project in the Amarillo area.
Job SummaryThis full-time regular position plays a vital role in driving sales performance and operational excellence at a designated job site location. The role is responsible for managing inventory and sales of consumable products while developing, maintaining, and growing strong customer relationships.
The primary focus of this position is delivering exceptional service, proactively identifying customer needs, and ensuring inventory requirements are met efficiently and accurately. This individual will serve as a key point of contact for customers, supporting revenue growth while maintaining the high standards Industrial Supply Company is known for.
Duties and Responsibilities- Overseeing all customer sales efforts and managing inventory and logistics for the operation.
- Maintain customer relationships and see that the highest levels of customer service and communications are maintained.
- Receive orders and ensure they are properly entered into the processing system.
- Ensure timely delivery of orders and oversee VMI (vendor managed inventory) locations maintaining product availability.
- Maintain the appearance and functionality of equipment.
- Supervise at least one other employee assisting with the overall effort.
- Strong product knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Previous supervisory experience
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Self-Motivated and goal-oriented with a drive to achieve and exceed sales targets
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with sales or inventory systems
- Proven reliability and excellent attendance record
- Ability to work independently with a high degree of accuracy and accountability
