What You’ll Do

The Procurement Training Coordinator and advisor will support the development, implementation, and coordination of comprehensive training programs designed to ensure compliant procurement processes and enhance the capabilities of Pan Te Xas  Deterrence, LLC (PXD) personnel. The role also serves as a trusted advisor to management and staff, providing expert guidance on procurement strategies, policies, and best practices to promote efficiency, transparency, and value for money.

Responsibilities include curriculum development, training delivery, and contributing to strategic initiatives such as the integration of the Contractor Acquisition University (CAU). The position works in various learning environments, collaborates with the Compliance Team to assess training needs, and evaluates program effectiveness for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Training & Development:
    • Develop and deliver engaging procurement training sessions (in-person and virtual) for staff at all levels.
    • Create training materials, manuals, and e-learning modules tailored to organizational needs, including adult‑learner curriculum development and the management of virtual learning products.
    • Assess training effectiveness and recommend improvements, supporting innovative adult‑learning techniques such as e‑learning platforms and interactive training methods.
    • Develop briefings and reports on issues, identified gaps, and related topics associated with supply‑chain training efforts.
    • Support the development and implementation of the CAU framework in PXD’s procurement training approach.
  • Advisory & Strategic Support:
    • Provide expert advice on procurement planning, sourcing strategies, and contract management.
    • Guide teams on compliance with procurement policies, regulations, and ethical standards, including training content preparation and event support.
    • Support management in developing procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
    • Advance innovative adult‑learning techniques, such as e‑learning platforms and interactive training methods.
  • Process Improvement & Compliance:
    • Identify opportunities to streamline procurement processes and enhance efficiency.
    • Monitor adherence to procurement policies and recommend corrective actions when necessary.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes.
Minimum

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree:
    Minimum 14 years of relevant experience.
  • Master’s degree:
    Minimum 12 years of relevant experience.
  • PhD:
    Minimum 6 years of relevant experience.
Preferred

Job Requirements
  • Experience developing and delivering adult‑learning curricula in a procurement or compliance environment.
  • Strong understanding of procurement processes and compliance requirements.
  • Experience with project‑management principles and work‑plan development.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within teams and independently manage tasks.
  • Proven procurement, contract management, and training delivery experience.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent presentation and report‑writing abilities.
  • Analytical skill to assess complex procurement issues and provide practical solutions.
