* JOB SUMMARY:

** Krause Landscape Contractors is seeking a talented and detail-oriented Landscape Designer & Estimator to join our team and help bring our clients’ visions to life. The Landscape Designer & Estimator will be responsible for developing innovative landscape designs, preparing accurate cost estimates, and supporting project management from concept through completion. This role requires a blend of creative design skills, technical knowledge, and strong organizational abilities.

* KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

**** Landscape Design
*** Create conceptual and detailed landscape designs for high-end residential and commercial properties
* Develop site plans, planting plans, hardscape layouts, and lighting designs using CAD and design software
* Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to refine design concepts
* Conduct site visits and assessments to inform design decisions
* Prepare presentation materials and design boards for client meetings
** Estimating
* ** Prepare detailed cost estimates and proposals for landscape construction projects
* Analyze plans and specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements
* Solicit and evaluate bids from subcontractors and suppliers
* Maintain and update pricing databases and cost tracking systems
* Ensure estimates align with project budgets and client expectations

* QUALIFICATIONS:

*** Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture, Horticulture, or related field
* 3+ years of experience in landscape design and estimating, preferably in high-end markets
* Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office
* Strong understanding of landscape construction methods and materials
* Excellent communication, presentation, and client-facing skills
* Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
