Hospitalist Nocturnist

Practice Info

• Well-established team of 10 physicians and 2 advanced practice providers (APP)
• Supported by a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator
• Academic hospital that manages the internal medicine residency program
• Strong vascular team for PICC line support
• Great RT team for intubations
• Utilizes Cerner EMR

Responsibilities

• Average 7-8 admissions at night
• Handle approximately 80 floor calls
• Work with residents who manage rapids
• Collaborate with a swing APP available until 11 pm for admissions and cross-call coverage

Compensation

• Day shift rate of $1750 and night shift rate of $2000
• Nocturnist base salary of $365,000
• Eligible for RVU and Quality bonus
• Robust sign-on bonus of $50,000

• 7 on/off
• Working nights, 7 pm-7 am
