Position Description
Supports the program director by performing administrative duties related to planning, directing and coordinating both the academic and operational activities of the program.

- Manages the daily business operations and all administrative responsibilities for the Office of Research and Graduate Programs.
- Provide administrative support to Associate Dean for Research in alignment with the office-related programs and projects.
- Coordinate and manage research-related communications and marketing of the office-related activities.
- Coordinate the administrative activities of the Veterinary Research Scholars Program
- Manage program databases for the Office.
- Independent judgment, strong organization and communication skills and a superior customer service focus.
- Ability to work under pressure, managing multiple projects and meeting external, hard deadlines.
- Ability to work with a diverse community including students, faculty, administrators, and industry, as well as federal and state agencies.
- Superb professional writing and editing skills.
- Knowledge of multiple perspectives of research programs.
- Ability to critically assess the office's needs.
High school plus six years experience in related field. Additional education may substitute for experience on a year for year basis.
Preferred QualificationsSignificant experience in research and development.
