Job Description

Primary

Purpose:

To provide collaboration and coordination in the development and delivery of quality School Services to meet the needs of Region 16 clients.

Qualifications

Education/Certification

  • Master’s Degree Required
  • Teaching Certification Required
  • Counseling Certification Preferred
  • Principal Certification Preferred

Skills

  • Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, track deliverables, and meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build collaborative relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience coaching school leaders and guiding leadership teams through long‑term planning, data and diagnostics, and system change refinement.
  • Willingness to complete certification training, participate in learning communities, and adapt to changing campus needs.
  • Demonstrated skill in a variety of staff development techniques, train staff and ability to lead high‑stakes meetings.
  • Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and ensure the delivery of products or services.
  • Experience in facilitating groups in large and small group settings.
  • Knowledge or experience with MTSS systems development and implementation.
  • Ability to gather feedback, find the root causes of systemic issues, and design practical solutions.
  • Skilled at collecting and analyzing data (like climate surveys and diagnostics) and turning those metrics into clear action plans.
  • Familiarity with Texas education frameworks and initiatives (such as EDF, ESF, HQIM, SIL, and TIL).
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze data effectively to inform necessary change.
Working Conditions
  • Tools/Equipment Used:
    Standard office equipment, including personal computer and peripherals.
  • Posture:
    Must be physically able to tolerate prolonged sitting, frequent standing; occasional bending/stooping, pushing/pulling, twisting, and standing.
  • Motion:
    Must be physically able to tolerate frequent standing and walking, repetitive hand motions, frequent keyboarding and use of mouse; occasional reaching, occasional driving.
  • Lifting:
    Must be physically able to tolerate regular light lifting and carrying (less than 15 pounds); may require occasional heavy lifting and carrying (45 pounds or more).
  • Environment:
    Must be physically able to work inside; tolerate frequent district wide travel and occasional statewide travel; regular exposure to noise.
  • Mental Demands:
    Must be able to work with frequent interruptions; maintain emotional control under stress; work prolonged or irregular hours on occasion.
  • Regular Attendance is an essential function.
Major Responsibilities and Duties
  • Attend mandatory training with TCSS and successfully complete the required Certified Technical Assistance Provider Course.
  • Deliver comprehensive training and targeted technical assistance (TA) on SSF components.
  • Demonstrate responsiveness to evolving campus needs by adjusting plans, resources, and support strategies to ensure effective and timely service delivery.
  • Deliver technical assistance and targeted training to support effective administration, data analysis, and continuous improvement planning aligned to SSF data collection points.
  • Deliver other professional development and technical assistance sessions as needed to meet campus and system needs.
  • Support school systems in understanding, designing, and implementing integrated systems change. Utilize data and stakeholder input to diagnose problems, analyze root causes, design solutions, and establish internal accountability cadences.
  • Attend TCSS Professional Learning Communities (PLCs).
  • Provide ongoing mentoring to campus leaders.
  • Gather necessary data and documentation to support the fidelity of SSF implementation.
  • Facilitate campus-level data discussions to interpret SSF metrics and drive actionable changes aligned with the Student Success Framework.
