Qualifications
Must be certified with a valid and current Texas Cosmetology Instructor License, be highly skilled in areas pertaining to cosmetology, and have a minimum of three years experience in a professional salon. Must also possess an outgoing and positive outlook and have good communication and organizational skills.
ResponsibilitiesTeach the classroom and laboratory aspects of the cosmetology program as prescribed by the State Cosmetology Board and Clarendon College on a substitute cosmetology basis. Teaching assignment may include afternoon and evening hours. The instructor is responsible for the success of the teaching/learning process within the classroom. The instructor is supervised by the Program Director and Vice President of Academic Affairs.
