The QHSE Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Amarillo, TX, responsible for supporting and monitoring quality, health, safety, and environmental programs across Destructable’s field and facility operations. This role coordinates day-to-day QHSE activities such as conducting site inspections, participating in risk assessments, tracking corrective actions, and supporting incident investigations and reporting. The QHSE Coordinator helps implement and maintain safety procedures, supports toolbox talks and safety meetings, and assists with QHSE documentation, audits, and compliance with internal standards and applicable regulations.
The role collaborates closely with operations, project managers, and field supervisors to promote a strong safety culture, ensure adherence to work instructions and SOPs, and drive continuous improvement in QHSE performance. The QHSE Coordinator also assists with training logistics, recordkeeping, and data analysis to support reporting and decision-making.
- Health & Safety and Workplace Safety skills to support safe operations in field and facility environments.
- Environment Health and Safety (EHS) and Occupational Health knowledge to help ensure regulatory compliance and effective risk management.
- Safety Training experience to assist with delivering or coordinating safety orientations, toolbox talks, and refresher training.
- Experience in QHSE coordination or similar roles in construction, renewable energy, industrial, or field-services settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective action tracking.
- Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with attention to detail and follow-through.
- Ability to work on-site in Amarillo, TX, including visits to active field sites and laydown yards. Remote/hybrid/travel work option
- Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA 30, First Aid/CPR, HSE-related training) and/or an associate or bachelor’s degree in safety, environmental science, or a related field are beneficial.
