• Provides strategic support and technical expertise to enhance equipment design, reliability, and maintainability across Production, Engineering, Projects, and Maintenance Organizations.
• Gathers, reviews, and analyzes data concerning facility or equipment reliability, availability, maintainability, and inspectability (RAMI) specifications.
• Review technical documents that depict or define reliability, accessibility, maintainability, or inspectability features of systems, equipment, and facilities, including technical basis documentation, manuals, and data-sheets.
• Driving the integration of project and plant RAMI deliverables.
• Develop and implement proactive maintenance strategies for facility structures, systems, and components.
• Conduct equipment fault identification and comprehensive trend analysis of structures, systems, and components.
• Defining, developing, implementing, revising, and monitoring Asset Management Plan(s) for structures, systems, and components.
• Effective deployment condition-based, predictive, and other non-destructive testing methodologies designed to identify and isolate inherent reliability problems before failure occurrence.
• Completing and presenting RAMI and Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) analyses to internal and external engineering partners. These analyses encompass labor distributions, critical spares identification, proactive asset management plans, failure rates of Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair (MTTR), and life‑cycle cost analysis.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering/science discipline
• Master's degree in engineering/science discipline
• PhD degree in engineering/science discipline

• Meet DOE O 426.2:
  Baccalaureate in engineering or related science, 2 years job‑related experience and at least 1 year nuclear experience, or DOE O 426.2 alternative. Experience can be satisfied following employment.

• Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering or a related field from an ABET accredited program in the United States or designated equivalents through ABET Mutual Recognition Agreements (MRA)
• Minimum GPA requirements: 3.0/4.0 for Bachelor, 3.3/4.0 for Master, 3.5/4.0 for PhD. GPA requirements superseded by experience beyond four years from graduation.
• Level 1 Thermography, Vibration certification or experience collecting Condition Based Maintenance data
• Ability to work independently and within a team, promoting collaboration
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Interact with organizations across the Enterprise
• Present information clearly and effectively orally and in writing
• Resolve complex issues with strong analytical and problem‑solving skills and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment

• Requires Department of Energy Q clearance; ability to obtain and maintain Q clearance is required.
• Position may require entry into Materials Access Areas (MAA) and participation in Human Reliability Program (HRP) if required.
