Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintain 99.9% availability of core network infrastructure including routers, switches, and data center fabrics.
  • Resolve network incidents and service outages within established SLAs.
  • Develop lifecycle, upgrade, patching, and rollback plans for network infrastructure.
  • Monitor network devices and ensure proper NOC/SOC onboarding and telemetry reporting.
  • Provide recommendations for performance optimization, capacity planning, and remediation activities.
  • Support Cisco ISE authentication, authorization, and access control services.
  • Administer Network Access Devices and identity groups.
  • Manage VoIP administration, moves, adds, changes, and deletions.
  • Administer wireless LAN infrastructure and access point deployments.
  • Manage load balancers, DNS, DHCP, and IPAM environments.
  • Maintain technical documentation, diagrams, inventories, and change records.
  • Submit and manage RFCs through Service Now and comply with CAB processes.
Education and Licensure
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Master's degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in lieu of education: A combination of 10 or more years of relevant education, training, and/or professional experience may be considered in place of the degree requirement.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS,

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. (required)
  • Experience with Cisco enterprise routing and switching technologies. (required)
  • Knowledge of network troubleshooting, operations, and infrastructure management. (required)
  • Must possess an active DoD Top Secret (TS) clearance or DOE Q Clearance, or have previously held one and be eligible for reinstatement. (required)
  • Ability to work with classified information and comply with security requirements (required)
  • Due to federal contract security requirements, this position requires U.S. Citizenship. (required)
  • Due to federal contract security requirements, candidates must be able to successfully pass a federal background investigation to secure and maintain DOE Q security clearance. (required)
  • Health & Safety training, medical monitoring, and client-driven drug and background testing. (required)
