Financial Analyst Position Summary
Participates in analysis of financial data and creating financial models. The position will seek to provide data that can be used by management for making operational decisions. Duties include organizing and managing large and varied data sets, analyzing healthcare data to optimize business operations and communicating their findings through the use of data visualization and detailed reports. Position assists in other areas of the department with duties as assigned by the deadlines determined by the position supervisor all in accordance with hospital policies and procedures.
Job Duties / ResponsibilitiesDemonstrates competence in the provision of departmental services through a collaborative process designed to integrate services/functions throughout NWTHS and the Accounting department.
Qualifications- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in accounting or closely related subject
- 1-2 years of accounting experience, some cost accounting preferred
- Strong computer skills
- Typing skills of 20 wpm
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Spreadsheet experience; strong skills, preferred
- CPA certification is desirable, but not mandatory
- Practical hospital business experience, preferred
- Experience with other office products including PowerPoint, preferred
