Senior Loan Officer – Agricultural & Commercial Lending

We are currently seeking an experienced Senior Loan Officer to develop and manage high-value agricultural and commercial lending relationships. This is an excellent opportunity for a relationship-driven lender with a strong agriculture background and a passion for the ag community.

The Senior Loan Officer will manage an established portfolio while developing new relationships and serving as a trusted financing partner to customers throughout the market.

• Take over management of a portfolio of agricultural and commercial customer relationships
• Develop and maintain complex, high-value lending relationships
• Grow the portfolio through new business development, referrals, and expansion of existing relationships
• Lead annual renewals, including pricing discussions, terms, financial documentation, and coordination with credit
• Analyze financial information and identify credit risks, trends, and opportunities
• Partner with Credit, Operations, and other internal teams to move loans efficiently through underwriting, renewal, and closing
• Maintain regular customer contact and proactively identify additional financing needs
• Maintain accurate pipeline, customer, and portfolio information within the CRM
• Assist customers with onboarding and utilization of available lending technology and customer resources
• Travel throughout the assigned market to maintain and develop customer relationships

• Strong agricultural background and knowledge of agricultural operations
• Preferred 3+ years of credit, underwriting, or lending experience
• Proven business development and relationship management ability
• Understanding of agricultural lending and commercial credit
• Experience analyzing financial statements and assessing credit risk
• Familiarity with loan documentation and the lending process
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Self-motivated, relationship-oriented, and comfortable working independently
