Amarillo is seeking a full-time Emergency Management Planner to coordinate the development and maintenance of emergency plans. This role involves assisting with emergency operations and enhancing community awareness about emergency preparedness.
The ideal candidate should have a bachelor's degree in Emergency Management or a related field, experience with emergency management principles, and must complete specific NIMS/ICS training within the first year.
Applicants are required to hold valid Texas Driver’s Licenses and must live within 30 minutes of the Emergency Operations Center.
