The primary purpose of this position is to serve as primary advisor to senior leaders for the planning, crafting, and delivering of strategic messaging to both internal and external stakeholders at the national level.
Key ResponsibilitiesLeads, plans, organizes, and oversees cross-organizational activities that pertain to strategic communications and stakeholder engagement as senior advisor to the Deputy Chief of Staff (DCS) of the Air Force for Force Modernization, his/her senior leadership team, as well as other senior leaders in the Air Force including the CSAF and SECAF.
Leads the development and management of strategic communications, plans, and outreach strategy for A57 engagements in support of DAF modernization that are internal to the Air Force and Department of War, as well as for key external organizations and agencies in federal government, Congress, private industry, and international partners. Develops and presents recommendations to A57 Front Office on participation of A57 Principals at industry, think tank, and media engagements.
Performs supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Plans and assigns work to be accomplished by subordinates, considers difficulty of assignments and capabilities of employees, sets and adjusts priorities, and prepares schedules for completion of work.
