Paramedic Basic - Amarillo, TX

Paramedic – Childress, TX

Immediate full‑time opportunity with a pay range of $25–$40 per hour, depending on experience. 48/96‑hour shift schedule.

• Assess each call situation to determine appropriate action while following progressive paramedic protocols.
• Use medical equipment and procedures such as defibrillator, EKG monitor, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids to provide advanced care.
• Communicate with patients and their families to provide information and reassurance.
• Act as team leader when required, managing the scene and unit.
• Operate ambulance during 911 responses.
• Collaborate professionally with allied health and public‑safety personnel and fellow paramedics.
• Participate in community programs to support AMR image and build community relations.

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
• State paramedic license.
• Valid driver’s license.
• BLS, ACLS, NREMT‑Paramedic certification.
• Clean driving record meeting company policy.
• Pass physical agility test.
• Some healthcare work experience preferred.
